I believe creativity has two sides — heart and system. The heart connects people to meaning. The system gives it legs.

For 15 years, I’ve lived at the intersection of both.

As Founder and Creative Director of Bean Dog Films, I’ve led creative and strategic storytelling for brands like Pebble Beach Resorts, Chime, Visit California, Bassett Furniture, and Lazy Dog Restaurants. What started as a production studio has been evolving into a creative lab — starting with a deep understanding of brands and building campaigns and emotional story structures from there.

The work has ranged from national campaigns to product storytelling, from short-form social to long-form documentary. But the throughline is always the same: find the part about the brand that the human finds relatable, and tell it beautifully.

Along the way, I’ve built long-term client-side partnerships that demonstrate the power of that approach. Pebble Beach turned a small social campaign into Make History, a unifying brand voice that’s now seen around the world. Bassett Furniture grew a legacy project into an eight-year partnership, producing hundreds of ads and internal systems built for connection, speed, and consistency. Lazy Dog Restaurant, Ford, Honda, Callaway, Visit California — the list goes on, and each one became a collaboration, not a contract.

I also founded AthletesClass, a youth sports resource focused on the mental side of performance — combining sports psychology, storytelling, and design to help athletes develop emotional and mental strength. It’s storytelling with a mission: to make people feel capable, connected, and less alone.

Today, I’m focused on building creative solutions to storytelling.
